Last week was national suicide prevention week, and the SADD club wants to provide education to those who are unaware of how to prevent it. Suicide is the third leading cause of death from people aged 15-24 in the united states. If your friend has told you they want to hurt themselves, tell an adult. Their life is more important than a kept secret. If you see someone with horizontal cuts on their arm, it could be self-harm, a precursor to suicide. Please tell an adult. Lastly, if you are having thoughts of hurting yourself, please call the suicide hotline, 1-800-273-8255. Thank you.
