The time for Friar Week has arrived! Join your classmates in celebrating the new school year at Bishop Lynch. Friar Week serves as a way of welcoming the new freshmen, as well as the returning students. Decorate your hallway in your class color, dress up for each day’s corresponding theme, and have a blast all week long. GO FRIARS!

MONDAY 09/04/2017: NO SCHOOL

  • All are invited to meet at BL to decorate class hallways
  • Meet at school at 4:00 pm
  • Bring decorations in your class colors


  • Costume day!!
  • Dress up as your favorite decade to show our commitment to the history of BL as we make our mark here!
  • All school “dress down” guidelines apply
  • This a costume day – not just a “jeans day”
  • Shirts in good taste (no inappropriate messages, midriffs, spaghetti straps, or low cut tops – all costumes must be tasteful)
  • No flip-flops
  • No mini-skirts, all skirts must be at least to the knee
  • Leggings or tights must be worn under shorts


  • Our favorite spirit day! Wear your class color shirts, socks, and accessories with school uniform pants/skirts/shoes to show your class and school spirit!
  • Seniors: Red
  • Juniors: Blue
  • Sophomores: Green
  • Freshmen: Yellow


  • Wear Hawaiian shirts and accessories with uniform pants/skirts/shoes as we say “Aloha” to this new school year and football season!

FRIDAY 09/08/2017: “Friar Pride Friday”

  • Wear Red, White, and Blue Accessories with uniform pants/skirts to prepare for the Red, White, and Blue theme football game at 7:30 pm … the first home game of the season as Defending State Champions!
