Bishop Lynch High School is pleased to announce the appointment of Lindsey Matvey as Assistant Athletic Trainer.

“I’ve always heard such positive feedback from people around the area regarding their experience at Bishop Lynch and once I stepped on campus for my interview, I could instantly see why,” Lindsey said. “The family-like atmosphere was very encouraging and played a major role in my decision to accept this position.”

Lindsey is returning to an area she is quite familiar with, having graduated from North Mesquite High School in 2009. She attended the University of Texas and received her bachelor’s degree in athletic training in 2014.

Her first position was at the University of Houston as a graduate assistant, working as the athletic trainer for the women’s volleyball and tennis teams. She received her master’s degree in sport and fitness administration from UH in 2016.

Most recently, Lindsey worked as an athletic trainer for MultiSport Health Center in Houston.

In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities while also contributing as a volunteer in her community.

Please join us in welcoming Lindsey to our Bishop Lynch community!
